Well, we are back, and it's time to get back into the swing of things. I hope you all enjoyed your vacations. I know I did! I got to spend time with a lot of family and friends, some of whom I have not seen in quite awhile. I also spent 3 days remodeling our downstairs bathroom, had my first Rock Band experience (I played the guitar part for Nirvana's In Bloom), and watched Dear Ole State hang on to beat LSU in the Capital One Bowl (talk about nerve racking!).
We'll pick up right where we left off with South America. We're shooting for a unit test on Tuesday, 1/12/10. The 2nd marking period ends in less than three weeks, so please get back into a schedule with homework and studying (maps!). Some of you still need to complete some blogs before the marking period ends as well. There is plenty to do!
I am excited to see you back in the classroom tomorrow! Lets get 2010 off to a good start!

Do not forget about the Rose Bowl Champions... Although, I can't lie, I was rooting for Penn State to beat LSU because my mom and sister like Peenn State, but when the clock hit 0:00 in the game, I put on my Ohio State jersey.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a good Christmas break. I know I did. I had a birthday party on New Years Eve. It was a lot of fun, I stayed up until 6:00 the next morning, and was very tired all weekend. But, I was glad to come back to school and see everybody and hear what they did over break.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the vacations is over. I wanted it to last forever. oh well even though school gets on my nerves I'm glad to be back. The only reasons it's good is because my friends are there and if I stayed at home my mommy and daddy would pretty much kill me. Oh and i came back so that you wouldn't cry about losing you favoritest student you EVER had. Yes, I know it would have been a tragety if I hadn't come back but I did so what I say to you is "YOUR WELCOME"

Im kinda happy that we are back because now i have something to do instead of sitting home doing nothing. I was playing my new PS3 waaaay too much but i do wanna borrow a game frrom Andrew Kennedy because i am really mad that i didnt get it and he did. But my vaca. was still REALLY good.
ReplyDeleteI ma kind hapy about my vacation i had a very good time. WHat i realy whant that i did not get is an ipod touch but m parents said''its to exspensive'' exact words. I dont like going back to school but at least all my frenids are there. Evan Folkrod is not very happy that he did not get assasans creed2
