How are your human-environment interactions coming as you and your families prepare for winter? My wife and I lowered our storm windows this weekend. Then, with the help of our fathers and our friend Mike, we completed a major task by adding insulation to the attic of our home this weekend. My friend Mike and I had to crawled into the crawl space behind the finished walls in our attic. Then my father and father in-law passed insulation to us so that we could insulate the floor and walls behind it. You can see how tight the space was in the picture. All told, Mike and I were in the crawl space for about 5 hours!

H-EI Update
How are your human-environment interactions coming as you and your families prepare for winter? My wife and I lowered our storm windows this weekend. Are H-EI for winter is coming on great. We are closeing all the windows so we dont get sick. We are turning the heat up so we keep warm. Also we switch out our summer cloths with your winter cloths. We also changed the furnace fliter. Extra blankets on the bed so we stay warm when sleeping. And thats how our familys H-EI is coming along for winter.
ReplyDeleteFor the winter, my family used to have a screen door that had holes in it to let the air in. But now since it is cold out and nearing the cold Winter months, we put in a glass window where the other one was. Haha my dog Dexter got confused and didn't know that there was a window there and tried to run outside and hit his head. Don't worry, he's alright.
